Bara 42 procent av grekerna \u00e4r redo att vaccinera sig mot Covid-19. Det framg\u00e5r av en studie som genomf\u00f6rts av Atens Ekonomiska H\u00f6gskola. Av studien framg\u00e5r ocks\u00e5 att grekernas f\u00f6rtroende f\u00f6r regeringens s\u00e4tt att hantera pandemin har minskat markant sedan i v\u00e5ras.<\/strong> D\u00e4remot litar grekerna v\u00e4ldigt mycket p\u00e5 sitt eget omd\u00f6me.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Totalt har 3 571 personer fr\u00e5n olika \u00e5ldersgrupper och med olika socio-akonomisk bakgrund och fr\u00e5n hela Grekland tillfr\u00e5gats i studien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e4dsla f\u00f6r biverkningar och tvivel p\u00e5 att viruset fungerar \u00e4r de huvudsakliga sk\u00e4len till tveksamheten. Samtidigt s\u00e4ger en tredjedel av de tillfr\u00e5gade att vaccinet borde vara obligatoriskt. Kvinnor och \u00e4ldre \u00e4r mer positiva till att vaccinera sig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konspirationsteorier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En ovanligt stor andel av grekerna tror p\u00e5 olika konspirationsteorier, m\u00e5nga av dem kretsar kring ”big pharma” och handlar om vaccinationer. Det handlar om allt fr\u00e5n dolda biverkningar till mikrochips som sprutas in under huden. Det p\u00e5g\u00e5r en diskussion bland politiker och experter om att g\u00f6ra vaccinet obligatoriskt, men n\u00e5got s\u00e5dant beslut har \u00e4nnu inte fattats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En stor andel av grekerna tror ocks\u00e5 att regeringen av oklara sk\u00e4l \u00f6verdriver antalet smittade och d\u00f6da, att Covid-19 i sj\u00e4lva verket inte \u00e4r v\u00e4rre \u00e4n en vanlig s\u00e4songsinfluensa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De flesta f\u00f6ljer reglerna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unders\u00f6kningen visar att en majoritet av befolkningen f\u00f6ljer de h\u00e5rda restriktionerna i landet, som inf\u00f6rdes f\u00f6r mer \u00e4n fem veckor sedan. Av de tillfr\u00e5gade svarade 68 procent att de praktiserar fysisk distansering, 86 procent anv\u00e4nder munskydd och 90 procent skickar SMS innan de ska g\u00e5 ut. 58 procent s\u00e4ger at de l\u00e4mnar hemmet ”n\u00e4r det \u00e4r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c4ven h\u00e4r kvinnor och \u00e4ldre mer noga, ett faktum som Grekland har skrivit om tidigare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Misstron \u00f6kar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I den unders\u00f6kning som genomf\u00f6rdes under lockdown i april var det 57 procent som svarade att de hade f\u00f6rtroende f\u00f6r statens \u00e5tg\u00e4rder. Den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen \u00e4r det bara 39 procent. H\u00e4r syns inga skillnader mellan k\u00f6nen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e4remot s\u00e4ger 85 av hundra tillfr\u00e5gade att de mest av allt litar p\u00e5 sitt eget omd\u00f6me, skriver Ekathimerini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resultaten f\u00f6rskr\u00e4cker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unders\u00f6kningsresultaten f\u00f6rskr\u00e4cker. Att \u00f6ver 30 procent av grekerna struntar i att f\u00f6lja rekommendationerna om fysisk distansering<\/strong> kan f\u00f6rklara varf\u00f6r det har g\u00e5tt s\u00e5 tr\u00f6gt att hejda coronavirusets framfart. Det \u00e4r den enskilt mest effektiva metoden f\u00f6r att bek\u00e4mpa viruset, medan munskydden<\/strong> \u00e4r den metod som immunologerna \u00e4r mest tveksamma till, i synnerhet om de anv\u00e4nds i st\u00e4llet f\u00f6r fysisk distansering. Det antyder ocks\u00e5 att grekerna kanske \u00e4r mer r\u00e4dda f\u00f6r att tvingas b\u00f6ta \u00e4n f\u00f6r att smittas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e4cker inte till flockimmunitet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Att bara 42 procent vill vaccineras \u00e4r riktigt problematiskt. Det \u00e4r sannolikt l\u00e5ngt under den niv\u00e5 som kr\u00e4vs f\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 flockimmunitet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unders\u00f6kningen visar ocks\u00e5 att den machokultur som odlas i stora delar av Grekland \u00e4r farlig. Om man inte vid det h\u00e4r laget har f\u00f6rst\u00e5tt att coronavirusets skadeverkningar p\u00e5 liv, h\u00e4lsa och ekonomi \u00e4r st\u00f6rre \u00e4n vad ett vaccin rimligen kan vara s\u00e5 kanske man inte ska lita s\u00e5 mycket p\u00e5 det egna omd\u00f6met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mor\u00f6tter och piskor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Greklands regering har sj\u00f6satt en kampanj f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra befolkningen mer positivt inst\u00e4lld till vaccinet. Vi f\u00e5r se hur det g\u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grekerna tycks beh\u00f6va mor\u00f6tter ock piskor, ”samh\u00e4llet” \u00e4r ett alltf\u00f6r abstrakt begrepp. De kanske kan anordna ett lotteri, s\u00e5 att de som vaccinerar sig kan vinna pengar? Det gjordes med framg\u00e5ng f\u00f6r ett par \u00e5r sedan, i avsikt att minska skattefusket.
