Nu \u00e4r det bara en vecka kvar till avresa. N\u00e4r vi landar p\u00e5 Atens flygplats har det g\u00e5tt ett \u00e5r och tre dagar sedan vi senast l\u00e4mnade den f\u00f6r att flyga hem till Sverige. Det har varit ett dramatiskt \u00e5r.<\/strong> L\u00e5t oss titta tillbaka p\u00e5 det och sedan titta lite fram\u00e5t.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Fram till i mars f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret Var Grekland All Exclusive en ”trevlig” webpublikation f\u00f6r Greklands\u00e4lskare. H\u00e4r fanns artiklar om allt mellan himmel och jord som handlade om Grekland. Eftersom vi inte bara ber\u00e4ttar om det Grekland som grekerna sj\u00e4lva g\u00e4rna visar upp f\u00f6r turisterna utan ocks\u00e5 om dess baksidor s\u00e5 har vi emellan\u00e5t f\u00e5tt f\u00f6rsvara oss, framf\u00f6r allt fr\u00e5n grekiska h\u00f6gerextremister och aningsl\u00f6sa charterturister. Det \u00e4r inga problem. Vi har fakta p\u00e5 f\u00f6tterna och om det blir personangrepp trycker moderatorerna p\u00e5 block-knappen. Annars f\u00e5r vi inte s\u00e5 mycket reaktioner. Om inte statistiken fanns skulle vi nog ha trott att vi inte hade n\u00e5gra l\u00e4sare alls. Det har vi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5 kom coronaviruset och hela resebranschen tv\u00e4rnitade. Antalet l\u00e4sare rasade. Kommentarf\u00e4lten och Facebookgrupperna bliv slagf\u00e4lt f\u00f6r och emot att \u00e5ka till Grekland. Det skr\u00e4mde nog bort m\u00e5nga av de mindre stridslystna l\u00e4sarna. Vi best\u00e4mde oss f\u00f6r att h\u00f6ja ribban. Vi sk\u00e4rpte reglerna och en hel del br\u00e5kstakar f\u00f6rvisades fr\u00e5n Facebookgrupperna. Kommentarf\u00e4ltet p\u00e5 hemsidan kr\u00e4ver godk\u00e4nnande, s\u00e5 det var enkelt ordnat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grekland \u00f6ppnade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sedan, n\u00e4r Grekland \u00f6ppnade gr\u00e4nserna och b\u00f6rjade sl\u00e4ppa in turister, b\u00f6rjade det h\u00e4nda saker. Antalet l\u00e4sare sk\u00f6t i h\u00f6jden, v\u00e5ra st\u00e4ndiga uppdateringar av resebest\u00e4mmelser och nyheter var uppenbarligen popul\u00e4ra. N\u00e4r vi i slutet av juli \u00e4ntligen kunde flytta redaktionen till Chania ville tusentals l\u00e4sa om l\u00e4get i Grekland, med munskydd och sakta \u00f6kande restriktioner. Det var l\u00e5ngtifr\u00e5n v\u00e5r lyckligaste tid i Grekland, men det var \u00e4nd\u00e5 sk\u00f6nt att f\u00e5 tillbringa sex veckor i v\u00e5rt andra hem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tre g\u00e5nger fler l\u00e4sare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e4r 2020 var slut hade antalet l\u00e4sta artiklar mer \u00e4n trefaldigats. Visserligen hade vi f\u00e4rre l\u00e4sare under h\u00f6sten och vintern, men det \u00e4r ganska naturligt, eftersom Grekland gick in i en h\u00e5rd lockdown i november, som p\u00e5gick n\u00e4stan till p\u00e5sk \u00e5ret efter. Sedan gick det fort. I dag har vi fyra g\u00e5nger fler dagliga sidvisningar \u00e4n vi hade i mars. N\u00e4r detta skrivs i slutet av augusti ligger vi 23% \u00f6ver f\u00f6rra \u00e5rets hel\u00e5rssiffra. V\u00e5ra artiklar l\u00e4ses nu av tre g\u00e5nger fler l\u00e4sare \u00e4n i b\u00f6rjan av \u00e5ret<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hur kunde vi \u00f6ka antalet l\u00e4sare samtidigt som v\u00e4ldigt f\u00e5 svenskar reste till Grekland? N\u00e4r vi sj\u00e4lva inte har varit d\u00e4r p\u00e5 n\u00e4stan ett \u00e5r? Det \u00e4r f\u00f6rst\u00e5s coronaviruset som ligger bakom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e4r vi f\u00f6rra h\u00f6sten s\u00e5g att det var en ny lockdown p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng i Grekland best\u00e4mde vi att g\u00f6ra dagliga uppdateringar av l\u00e4get. Den trevliga publikationen f\u00f6rvandlades till en rapp nyhetssajt, med fokus p\u00e5 coronaviruset. Statistik, lagstiftning, j\u00e4mf\u00f6relser med Sverige… V\u00e5ra artiklar om reseregler och v\u00e5r guide till hur man fyller i sin PLF har haft m\u00e5nga tusen l\u00e4sare. De sju mest l\u00e4sta artiklarna hittills i \u00e5r har handlat om coronaviruset och de svarar f\u00f6r n\u00e4stan h\u00e4lften av det totala antalet sidvisningar. Vi ser att m\u00e5nga kommer tillbaka ofta, s\u00e5 antalet sidvisningar har \u00f6kat mycket mer \u00e4n antalet unika l\u00e4sare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det \u00e4r f\u00f6rst\u00e5s trevligt att f\u00e5 fler l\u00e4sare, men det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 lite oroande. Pandemin kommer f\u00f6rhoppningsvis att ta slut snart och d\u00e5 ska vi \u00e5terg\u00e5 till att ber\u00e4tta om Grekland. Kommer l\u00e4sarna att \u00f6verge oss d\u00e5?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pandemin i grekiskt sammanhang<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Visst, vi har f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka s\u00e4tta in pandemin i ett grekiskt sammanhang, senast med den h\u00e4r artikeln.<\/a> Vi har ocks\u00e5 tvingats bevittna hur grekerna h\u00e5nade oss f\u00f6r v\u00e5rt s\u00e4tt att inledningsvis hantera pandemin, det har vi ocks\u00e5 skrivit om.<\/a> Minns ni f\u00f6rra \u00e5rets buff\u00e9besvikelse?<\/a> Det var f\u00f6rra \u00e5rets mest l\u00e4sta artikel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men det var aldrig meningen att vi skulle bli en nyhetsbyr\u00e5 med fokus p\u00e5 coronaviruset i Grekland. Vi vill vara den b\u00e4sta kunskapsresursen p\u00e5 svenska f\u00f6r alla som p\u00e5 ett eller annat s\u00e4tt vill l\u00e4ra sig mer om Grekland. Vare sig det handlarom spr\u00e5ket<\/a>, kulturen<\/a>, historien<\/a>, maten<\/a>, dryckerna<\/a>, folket<\/a>, milj\u00f6n <\/a>eller n\u00e5got annat. Det finns n\u00e4stan 700 artiklar att l\u00e4sa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att veta hur vi ska g\u00e5 vidare. Vi hoppas f\u00f6rst\u00e5s kunna g\u00f6ra fler resor och se mer av Grekland. Vi vill inte, som m\u00e5nga andra Greklandssajter, skriva resereportage om platser vi aldrig har bes\u00f6kt. V\u00e5r guide till Greklands \u00f6ar<\/a> inneh\u00e5ller bara 28 \u00f6ar, eftersom vi inte har bes\u00f6kt fler. De flesta av v\u00e5ra resor g\u00e5r till Chania, eftersom vi har ett hus d\u00e4r. Men Grekland \u00e4r s\u00e5 mycket mer \u00e4n Kreta <\/a>och Rhodos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vi ska \u00e5tminstone vara i Aten <\/a>i ett par dagar p\u00e5 hemv\u00e4gen. Det \u00e4r bra, vi har varit alldeles f\u00f6r lite i Greklands sp\u00e4nnande huvudstad. R\u00e4kna med ett par reportage! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vi b\u00f6rjar nu s\u00e5 sakteliga f\u00f6rbereda oss. Planerar lite ink\u00f6p, fixar nya pass, och Covidbevis <\/a>uppdaterar v\u00e5r PLF… <\/a>En g\u00e5ng gl\u00f6mde vi nycklarna, det blev lite b\u00f6kigt innan vi fick kontakt med n\u00e5gon av dem som har extranycklar till v\u00e5rt hus. En annan g\u00e5ng var huset str\u00f6ml\u00f6st n\u00e4r vi kom. Det var en nerv\u00f6s stund innan vi hittade felet, en utl\u00f6st huvuds\u00e4kring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00f6rra \u00e5ret skrev jag mig ner till Chania <\/a>och vi kunde publicera den f\u00f6rsta artikeln redan n\u00e5gra timmar efter ankomst till lokalredaktionen i Chania. Jod\u00e5, det \u00e4r en riktig redaktion. D\u00e4r finns dator, kamera, bredband och all annan utrustning. Det pyttelilla kontorsh\u00f6rnet fick en bekv\u00e4m kontorsstol fr\u00e5n Ikea f\u00f6r ett par \u00e5r sedan, men p\u00e5 sommaren sitter jag helst i den skuggiga gr\u00e4nden och skriver.
